Privacy policy
This explains what we store about you when you use klubblisten.no and the Klubblisten booking page, why, and what you can do about it. It also explains how we use YouTube API Services. Last updated: 15 October 2026.
Who is responsible
Klubblisten DA is responsible for the personal data on this website.
Kleppevegen 75, 5306 Kleppestø, Norway · post@klubblisten.no
What we store
- Your account: email address and login (password or Google sign-in). Passwords are handled by Google Firebase – we never see them.
- Your DJ profile: artist name, full name, mobile number, Instagram, genres and whether you want last-minute emails.
- Your bookings: dates and slots, add-ons (audio/video), B2B partner and takeover line-up, price, payment status and which emails we have sent you.
- Promo photo: the photo of yourself you upload before your gig. We store it in our Google Drive and use it, together with photos we take in the studio, to promote your sets on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and this website. Ask us at any time and we'll delete it.
- Recordings: links to the recording of your set (for example YouTube or Google Drive), if your set is recorded.
- Payments: when you pay with Vipps, we receive the order and payment status. We never see your card or bank details.
- Push notifications (only if you turn them on, no account needed): the notification address your browser gives us for this device, which notifications you chose, your language, and – if you are logged in as a DJ – which DJ profile the device belongs to. We use it only to send the notifications you chose.
Why we store it
- To handle your bookings – confirm your slot, send you practical info, take payment and contact you about your gig. This is needed to deliver what you book (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
- Push notifications that you have turned on yourself (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)). You can turn them off at any time in «Get notifications».
- Last-minute emails about open slots, to DJs who have a profile or have played with us. You can turn these off at any time in «My DJ Profile» or via the link in the email (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
- Accounting: payment records are kept as required by the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act (GDPR art. 6(1)(c)).
What others can see
The public line-up shows your artist name, genres and Instagram for the nights you play. Your email, mobile number and real name are only visible to you and to the Klubblisten admins. Logged-in DJs can find your artist name in the list when they choose a B2B partner or a takeover line-up. While you play, your artist name is shown in the stream title on Twitch. When you are booked with us for the first time, people who have turned on «New DJ» notifications get a short welcome notification with your artist name – not if you have turned off «Show me on klubblisten.no» in «My DJ Profile».
YouTube API Services
Klubblisten uses YouTube API Services in an internal tool, «Klubblisten Opplasting», that is only used by Klubblisten DA. After each show, the tool uploads the recorded DJ sets to our own YouTube channel (KLUBBLISTEN) and sets the title, description, thumbnail and scheduled publishing time.
- What we access: only our own YouTube channel, through Google sign-in (OAuth) by a Klubblisten admin. We do not access, collect or store data from other YouTube users or other channels.
- What we store: the video ID, link and publishing time of each video we upload, and the artist name of the DJ who played the set, so that we can send the link to the DJ and show it in their booking. The login token is stored only on the Klubblisten studio computer.
- Sharing: data from YouTube API Services is not sold or shared with anyone.
- Deletion: stored video information is deleted when the video is deleted from our channel, or on request to post@klubblisten.no.
By watching or interacting with our videos you are also covered by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Access given to the tool can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page.
Services we use
We use these services to run the website. They only process your data on our behalf:
- Google Firebase – login and database
- Google Drive and YouTube – storing photos and recordings, and publishing videos (see YouTube API Services above)
- Netlify – hosting of the website, our automatic emails and the push notification settings
- Push services in your browser (for example Google, Apple or Mozilla) – deliver the notifications to your device
- Resend – sending emails
- Vipps MobilePay – payments (Vipps is also responsible for its own processing of your payment)
Some of these companies are based in the USA. Transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Your profile is kept until you delete your account.
- When you delete your account (in «My DJ Profile»), your profile and login are deleted, upcoming gigs are cancelled, and past gigs are kept anonymously as «Deleted DJ».
- Payment records are kept as long as the Bookkeeping Act requires (normally 5 years).
- Push notification settings are deleted when you turn off all notifications, or when your browser tells us the device no longer accepts them.
Stored on your device
We do not use tracking, advertising or analytics cookies. The website only stores what it needs to work on your device: that you are logged in, and a few settings you choose yourself. If you turn on notifications, a small background script (a service worker) is installed so your device can receive them. Fonts are loaded from our own server. The YouTube player on our front page is only loaded when you press play. While we are live, the Twitch player on our front page starts by itself without sound, so that you can see the show right away. Twitch (Amazon) and YouTube (Google) may set their own cookies and receive information such as your IP address when their players are loaded. You can avoid this by not visiting the front page while we are live, or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we have about you, ask to get it in a portable format, or object to how we use it. Most of it you can change yourself in «My DJ Profile». For anything else, email post@klubblisten.no and we will answer within one month.
If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
